Privacy Policy
Lovely Home · Last updated: 26 August 2026
Summary
Lovely Home is a private household hub — each installation is set up for one home and is not a public sign-up service. Data you enter on a hub is stored on servers run for that household and is not shared with other Lovely Home installations.
This marketing site at lovely-home.co.uk is static — it does not collect analytics or account data. If you email support, we use your message only to respond.
Data stored on your household hub
On a running hub, typical data includes information you enter or generate, such as:
- House guide topics, photos, and setup details you add as the owner
- Hub profile — contacts, bin schedule, pet care notes, and display preferences
- Secrets — Wi‑Fi details, integration tokens, and similar values stored encrypted server-side
- Session information — device mode (owner vs sitter) and access cookies to keep sitter mode working between visits
- Backup files you export from the hub (saved where you choose)
That data is stored on servers run for your household. We do not operate a central database that mixes data from different homes.
Access and sign-in
Household members and guests sign in through secure access configured for that hub. Sign-in is managed by the household administrator — there is no open public registration.
Owner mode may be protected by a PIN you set on the hub. That PIN is used to unlock owner tools on the device; we do not use it to identify you across services.
Third-party services
These apply only when the household owner enables them:
- Weather providers — Forecast display may request location or postcode information you configure in the hub profile.
- Alexa Virtual Buttons (or similar) — Routine triggers send requests to the integration the owner configured. We do not receive Alexa account passwords.
- Calendar feeds — “My Day” in owner mode may read calendar URLs you provide.
- Secure sign-in — Invited users may authenticate through an identity provider configured for the hub (for example Cloudflare Access).
Those services receive only what is needed for the feature the owner enabled.
Local storage
The hub may cache guide content and preferences in the browser for speed and offline resilience. Display preferences are also synced to the household profile so multiple tablets stay consistent.
Reminders on the hub
Bin reminders and similar alerts are derived from schedule data already stored on your hub. They are shown on the tablet or in the browser — we do not send marketing push notifications from our own servers.
Analytics and tracking
We do not sell personal information. This marketing site does not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking. A household hub is a private installation — it is not used to build advertising profiles.
Children
Lovely Home is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the hub or this site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
